We have just concluded a successful two-day virtual symposium titled “Embracing Global Innovation – Impact on Valuation Professionals” which, as the name suggests, was focused on the latest developments affecting all those in the valuation profession. Delivered by IPTI in partnership with the Institute of Municipal Assessors (IMA), the symposium looked at, inter alia, the way in which “big data” can be handled, the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in mass appraisal, and many more ways in which technology can be harnessed to improve accuracy, cost-effectiveness and efficiency. Our speakers were all experts in their particular fields and the audience was very engaged in the event.
